COMPASS ROSE FARMS

PERMACULTURE & ICELANDIC SHEEP FARM

🧠 CHALLENGE: Compass Rose Farms had been operating for over 20 years, but following the pandemic, the business experienced a decline in visibility, bookings, and operational clarity. The existing website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and supported by disorganized digital systems that created confusion for both customers and internal staff. The challenge was not only visual, but structural: the farm needed a clearer service hierarchy, improved navigation, and a cohesive digital ecosystem that could support multiple revenue streams including events, weddings, education, and farm programming.

✍️ SOLUTION:  I worked as the in-house designer to restructure the business’s digital presence from the ground up. This included reorganizing service offerings into clear customer pathways, designing a new navigation architecture to support large volumes of content, and streamlining backend systems for better internal workflow management. In addition to the website redesign, I developed ongoing digital marketing assets including event flyers, promotional graphics, and social media content to improve brand consistency and visibility across platforms. The result was a more cohesive, scalable digital ecosystem that improved usability, strengthened brand presence, and supported long-term business growth.

❤️ CLIENT FEEDBACK: “Taryn has been my guardian angel over the last few months. She’s gone above and beyond to help restructure the farm’s systems. I felt the project was far too big to tackle alone, but she stepped in and performed with a speed and professionalism I didn’t know existed.”
