QUEER CONSCIOUS CONNECTIONS
LUXURY MATCHMAKING SERVICES
🧠 CHALLENGE: Queer Conscious Connections was launching as a new luxury matchmaking service with no existing brand presence. The challenge was to create a visual identity and digital experience that positioned the business as high-end and trustworthy, while still feeling emotionally warm, inclusive, and personal. The brand needed to stand out in a crowded matchmaking space, communicate credibility from day one, and build enough emotional connection to encourage potential clients to inquire about high-investment services.
✍️ SOLUTION: I began the project with brand discovery research including mood boards, competitor analysis, and user personas to identify visual and emotional gaps in the existing matchmaking landscape. This process revealed an opportunity to center Elise as the face of the brand in order to create trust, relatability, and emotional connection, a strategy largely missing from competitor positioning. From there, I developed a visual identity rooted in warm earth tones paired with refined, elegant typography to balance approachability with luxury. The website was designed with conversion strategy in mind, using intentional layout hierarchy, messaging flow, and call-to-action placement to guide users toward high-value inquiries. The final result positioned Queer Conscious Connections as both premium and deeply human.
